Christmas is almost here: 9 days and counting! This week each post will feature a look that can be worn for the holidays. I know we all have a packed schedule the next week or so.... and there's no reason to look less than your best. Something we spend lots of time doing is having movie and cocoa nights by the tree. Sometimes Luke and I do this on our own... and sometimes with friends and family. It's not really the time to be wearing PJ's, especially if you have company. So, keeping cozy yet pulled together is a must. 

My go to for these occasions is a pair of comfy jeans and an oversized cable knit sweater. I found this one at Forever 21 for $22.80!!! If you are on the hunt for sweaters to bundle up in this winter RUN over there right now! So many to choose from and all $30 and under!!! 

With the color being so simple I jazzed up the look with a bright lip and statement necklace. This look would work just as well with the red version of the sweater.

With Christmas being right at 2 weeks away ((where has the time gone?))... I thought I should share some of my must haves for Christmas morning. We spend our Christmas morning in our PJ's opening gifts... but that doesn't mean we don't need to look put together for pictures. For as long as I can remember I have always gotten a new pair of PJ's for Christmas and this year I am counting on these!!! I can't wait for Christmas... especially since it will be Luke and I's last one as singletons. Less than six months to go before the wedding and we cannot wait! The weekend is upon us, and considering we only have 20 days until Christmas (OMG!!!)... I thought I should spread some Christmas Cheer. I have to admit... the holidays bring both good and bad feelings for me. I lost my mother almost four years ago... and our family really hasn't been the same since. So, needless to say the holidays cause me to miss her even more than usual. Bright colors, sequins, and my favorite people seem to keep my spirits high so you can plan on seeing a lot of that around here the next  couple weeks. 

If Christmas cheer isn't your thing, maybe a little giggle will do the trick! Guess where I ended up wearing this get-up yesterday??? Waiting for AAA to come help me fix a flat tire!!!! My first one and I was devastated! To top it off... I was on my way to get these cray cray roots fixed!!! So excuse that for now... will be fixed Friday!
