Hey guys! So sorry for the impromptu vacay from blogging... life has been a little cray over here! 1. I am getting married in t-minus 3 days! (EEKKKK!!!!) 2. Luke's grandpa passed this past weekend... we've had a bit of a hard time... 3. I am on my voyage to the first state (DE) to see my favorite peeps and get ready for this wedding! So... I wasn't kidding when I said life had been a little major lately! I got some raves about a couple pieces I shared through insta and thought I would share the deets! I'm not always the best liketoknowit poster... so here goes ladies...
I am loving yellow lately. With so many options available right now, I thought I would share my top picks in this color story. Enjoy! Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by! Xo-L
I'm back! Finally! We can attest this to me finally having a day off and taking a minor break from wedding planning. Let me tell ya, I totally underestimated the amount of time it would take from my life. Glad to be back though... and finally sharing what I wore to a good friend of mine's wedding in Asheville a couple weeks ago. (Told you I was behind)
It was the weekend after my birthday and I had taken a day off earlier in the week to honestly clear my mind and get some things done for the wedding. I ended up making that a spa day and getting a mani, pedi, and blowout. That's what birthday girls should do though, right?
When I was at the salon, I popped over to their in house boutique to see what they had in stock. This dress immediately popped out at me. I loved the floral print and immediately thought of these shoes to throw the look together. It was perfect for the wedding on Saturday. We had a bit of a hike from the ceremony to the reception and I can't imagine how I would have managed with anything heavier. I found a great dupe and Charlemont offers phone orders if this dress is still in stock.
I hope you are having a wonderful day and thank you so much for reading. I appreciate you baring with me through this very busy time in my life! Looking forward to a blissful summer as a newlywed with much more time on my hands!

Hi there & Happy Monday! I am definitely grateful to have had a weekend to buckle down and get some serious wedding plans accomplished. I've been a little MIA lately and I apologize. This wedding is definitely the most exciting thing in the world to me right now... but also the most stressful. I've been feeling a little overwhelmed from being pulled in so many directions with work, wedding planning, wanting to keep this blog consistent, and maintaining relationships... This weekend definitely helped me get back on track and I hope you guys understand.
The 23rd was my birthday and being that it fell on a Wednesday, we didn't really do anything special. The weekend before we celebrated with my father and Luke's parents, but Luke and I didn't really get any time alone. I was so happy when he told me we would go to Market Square for dinner last Sunday to one of my favorite spots to celebrate late. Little did I know that my three closest friends were waiting there to meet us. I was definitely surprised and also completely grateful. We are all so busy and getting together seems to get harder and harder everyday.
I loved my outfit for dinner. The shorts were a find from Loft the day before when I did a little shopping after attending a wedding in Asheville. I was so happy to finally find a pair of lace shorts that were not seriously skimpy or see through! It's been nearly impossible, but I finally found a winner! These are everything!
Also, you know those Mari sandals from J Crew last summer that everyone was going Ga-Ga for? Yeah, this sister found them for $20 at the clearance store last weekend! I just love finding a steal!
I am trying to find pieces for the honeymoon and little by little I am filling the suitcase. These gems are definitely coming with.
Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for reading!
