Spotted

Top: Ann Taylor, sold out | Skirt: Old, similar here | Heels: Sole Society, similar | Clutch: Kslade Made, different color | Earrings: BaublebarXAnthropologie | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: J Crew Factory

Polka dots are perfection, especially when they come in navy! This skirt is an oldie I purchased from the Banana Republic outlet and it never fails me. Every time I wear it I just feel happier. The length is perfect and I love the white and gray color mix up in the pattern.

My Kslade Made clutch was a winter purchase, but I am still loving it paired with neutral outfits for a pop of color. The sunflowers... were just another addition to the fresh flowers in my house right now... I can't help it... Sad day= go buy some flowers and have a glass of wine.

I'm not sure if it's the fact that our wedding is less than two months away or that I'm just wedding obsessed right now, but everything I do with my hair or decide to throw on has some sort of "bridal" feel to it. I'm not hating it though!

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to check out my last post. I've been getting tons of skin questions and wanted to share some answers!

Utilize It...

I have to admit, I'm usually not one for military style vests.  I've loved the trend from afar the past couple seasons... but couldn't bring myself to purchase one. I always felt as though Camo and military-esque attire just wasn't really "me".  I somehow always find a way to make a trend I truly love work for me though. In this case, I went simple. By adding something I tend to crutch on  {stripes} the look instantly has a personal touch.

I can see myself wearing this over summer sundresses and even into fall as a layering piece. I love finding budget-friendly pieces that will stand the test of time... calculating a cost per wear into pennies= (true happiness}. Another obsession of mine... these Sole Society flats. I can't even count the number of compliments I have received while wearing these. The major draw for be was the ballet styling. These remind me so much of my ballet shoes. I also dying for them in leopard. {here)

If you're in the market for some adorable spring finds at budget-friendly prices, make sure to check out Old Navy. Another jackpot shopping spot right now: Sole Society! Amazing quality and comfort at a fraction of designer prices: can't beat it!

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by! Don't forget Wedding Wednesday Tomorrow! Exciting things coming your way!

Toughen Up

Jacket: Forever 21 (obsessed!!) // T-shirt: J Crew // Skirt: Nordstrom, similar //
Heels: Sole Society // Sunglasses: Tory Burch // Bag: Forever 21 // Watch: Michael Kors //
Lips: Pink Neauvou (my go to lately)

When I bought this jacket, I have to admit that I felt a little out of character. I struggle with edgy pieces. I always end up loving them, but adopting new things isn't a strong suite of mine.  I think the feminine details of the jacket make it a little more "me". The quilting is very chanel-esque and gives the jacket a more expensive look. If I didn't know where it was from, I would have thought it was much more expensive.

A way I make myself comfortable in tougher, edgier pieces is to add something soft and feminine. I thought the soft pink of the skirt helped to soften the edges. I always love adding new pieces to my wardrobe, but finding ways to make them my own is super important!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I spent mine being super sick and cooped up at home. Talk about a major bummer. I have so much to get done in the next couple months for the wedding so weekends are crazy important! Here's to hoping I feel much better tomorrow and can get back on track!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
