Sunny Days

Dress: Old Navy | Bag: Asos | Wedges: Shoedazzle | Watch: Michael Kors
Bracelet: J Crew Factory | Earrings: Francesca's, similar and on sale! |
Sunnies: Shop Ruche | Nails: Sally Hansen, Barracuda

I've never been much of a Maxi girl... maybe a skirt here and there, but NEVER a dress. I'm 5'4" and typically when I wear maxis I feel less than 5'. I would kill for a couple extra inches so throwing something on that makes me look even shorter is a no go. This dress from Old Navy changed my mind. (very hard thing to do) The length is perfection for my height and even allows for wearing with flats. I love the print. (a cool blue is everything to me in the summer)

These wedges are on repeat for me. I found them on Shoedazzle and immediately thought of some amazing Tory Burch wedges I've been dying for... but wedding budgets don't exactly allow for that. I love the bows and now want them in the red color they are also available in. Coming in at $30 they were the perfect alternative to the designer version.

I'm so excited for Easter weekend, aren't you?

Thanks for stopping by!

Just Simple

Vest: Old Navy | Chambray: J Crew Factory | Belt: J Crew, similar | Shoes: old, similar |
Earrings: Baublebar+Anthropologie Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: J Crew Factory
Sunnies: Shop Ruche | Lip: Pink Neauvou

I live for simple, casual outfits. The dress and vest I am wearing here are the epitome of casual. We were in a pinch for time on Saturday when going to meet friends so I automatically reached for these to throw together a quick, pulled together look. The snake print heels just added a little extra touch.

What is your go-to look when your pressed for time?

Utilize It...

I have to admit, I'm usually not one for military style vests.  I've loved the trend from afar the past couple seasons... but couldn't bring myself to purchase one. I always felt as though Camo and military-esque attire just wasn't really "me".  I somehow always find a way to make a trend I truly love work for me though. In this case, I went simple. By adding something I tend to crutch on  {stripes} the look instantly has a personal touch.

I can see myself wearing this over summer sundresses and even into fall as a layering piece. I love finding budget-friendly pieces that will stand the test of time... calculating a cost per wear into pennies= (true happiness}. Another obsession of mine... these Sole Society flats. I can't even count the number of compliments I have received while wearing these. The major draw for be was the ballet styling. These remind me so much of my ballet shoes. I also dying for them in leopard. {here)

If you're in the market for some adorable spring finds at budget-friendly prices, make sure to check out Old Navy. Another jackpot shopping spot right now: Sole Society! Amazing quality and comfort at a fraction of designer prices: can't beat it!

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by! Don't forget Wedding Wednesday Tomorrow! Exciting things coming your way!

Neon Sparkle

Tee: Forever 21, similar // Denim: Hudson, white version here // Bag: Forever 21 ($24.80!!!!) // Baseball Cap: Forever 21, similar //
Sneakers: Old Navy (kids) // Earrings: Forever 21 // Sunglasses: Tory Burch // Watch: Michael Kors // Bracelet: J Crew // Lip: Pink Neauvou

I feel like such a kid in this outfit... and kind of a like a soccer mom. Which is actually fitting considering where I am in life right now.  There's just something about throwing on a ball cap when you're having a bad hair day... it's kind of like washing away the bad and carrying on.  I've been having some major hair struggles lately... and a hat was definitely necessary this day.

I have been having some serious luck at Forever 21 lately. The bag I'm wearing came in at $24.80. It's always super nice to find outfit add-ons at bargain prices. If you're in the market right now check out the info below for what I'm loving from the accessories shop online.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Faux Fur It

Vest: random ebay find, similar // Top: Forever 21, similar // Denim: Old Navy // Flats: Old Navy //
Necklace: Benevolent Jewels (use code LFCODE20 for 20% off) // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff //
Watch: Michael Kors // Bracelet: J Crew // Lip: Lady Danger

Just one last time... I had to go with the faux fur. I am so happy to see spring make an appearance, but so sad to let my furry pieces go into the shadows of my closet. I feel like I spent a large majority of the winter looking for the perfect faux fur vest... it's hard to find something that isn't uber expensive or very cheaply made. While this guy I'm wearing isn't the most fancy thing... it feels nice. has pockets, and doesn't look like I'm wearing a gorilla. (you know how some black faux fur can translate...) Sometimes ebay can surprise you!

Another reason I'm longing for sunshine... I am a ghost! In piloxing last night I literally glowed under the flourescent lights. How embarrassing! I keep trying faux tanners, but nothing is doing the trick right now! I will let you know what I find! That's my weekend mission.

Happy Humpday! Thanks so much for reading and have a wonderful day!!!

Nautical

Coat: J Crew Factory // Sweatshirt: Loft, similar // Denim: Old Navy // Heels: Sole Society //
Bag: Louis Vuitton // Sunnies: Ray Ban //  Pearls: Jcrew //
Initial Necklace: Benevolent Jewels (use LFCODE20 for 20% off) // Earrings: Benevolent Jewels //
Watch: Michael Kors // Bracelet: Blush Bazaar // Lip: Pink Neauvou // Wearing Luxy 120g in Dirty Blonde

So I literally cannot wait for my wedding... to the point that I am having dreams of it already happening and thinking my Nana disowned me for not having her be there... yeah, I know... crazy! I feel like I'm channeling our honeymoon with this outfit so I had to share the weird wedding dream...

For our honeymoon Luke and I will be going to Martha's Vineyard... I am kind of obsessed with all things nautical and have always wanted to visit the area... so what better time? I think this jacket will be a great piece to take with because while we will be going in June... It still won't be super warm there... and I am always cold. I've been trying to pick up pieces here and there to bring with so I don't have to do some major shopping binge closer to time. Also, because shopping over the course of 4 months is much friendlier on a soon-to-be bride's budget.

In other news, life has been a little hard on me lately. More work-related than anything, but the stress has had a major effect on me! (I blame tax season and working in the banking industry) That being said, thank you to Luke for lifting my spirits. I'm feeling much more like myself now and happy to be back on a more regular schedule. Thank you as well for bearing with me! I greatly appreciate it!

Thank you so much for reading! Stay tuned for a new post tomorrow!
